We will inform our readers as soon as a new date has been announced.

We apologise for any inconveniences.

Bloggers of African descent in Europe will gather on 1-2 November in Berlin for the second Afro-Bloggers Convention.

The event, organised by Afrobizgermany.com, an online platform that projects the Black community in Germany to the outside world, brings Afro-bloggers together to discuss “RE-COMMUNICATION”. The 2-day Convention features discussions, workshops and networking opportunities.

The first Afro-Bloggers Convention took place on 2 November 2018 and drew participants from across Europe.

Speaking at last year’s event Samson Itodo, the publisher of afrobizgermany.com and the Convention’s organiser, talked about the necessity of sharing information and experiences, networking and telling the African story from the African perspective. This he said was important to promote African values and strengthen cultural identity.

Itodo said blogging had become an important part of the mass media which is why he’s holding the event to create a platform for African practitioners to explore opportunities to push the African story in the global media landscape.
