THE AFRICAN COURIER. Reporting Africa and its Diaspora! The African Courier is an international magazine published in Germany to report on Africa and the Diaspora African experience. The first issue of the bimonthly magazine appeared on the newsstands on 15 February 1998. The African Courier is a communication forum for European-African political, economic and cultural exchanges, and a voice for Africa in Europe.

The extraordinary seminar programme offered by the State of Berlin on the topic of start-ups and self-employment for people with a migration background interested in starting a business begins a new round in May!
For exactly 20 years, the state of Berlin has been strengthening and honouring the economic growth and cultural diversity of Berlin’s start-ups and has been running the seminar series “Vielfalt gründet” (formerly: “Planning the future. Seeing opportunities”). In cooperation with various intercultural networks, these introductory seminars are offered bilingually and provide international founders with an initial insight into the topic of start-ups.
Seminars offered
Start-up seminars are offered in twelve languages. In addition, the seminar series offers courses specifically for refugees (in Arabic, Kurdish and Farsi), women with an international history who are interested in starting a business (in German and English) and for people from the creative industries who are interested in starting a business (in English).
