2Baba Idibia kicks off Europe tour to celebrate 20 years in show business

Since 1999 when he emerged on the scene, 2Baba Idibia (aka 2Face Idibia) has defined African hip-hop music with his unique voice and style and his popularity just keeps growing.

2Baba – ‘the daddy of Nigerian hip-hop’, who went by the stage name 2Face Idibia until July 2014, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, record producer and entrepreneur.

One could say that the 43-year-old Afrobeats legend, whose genres include R&B, hip-hop, reggae gospel and Afropop, has created his own unique musical style.

From 28 August to 8 September, 2Baba will perform in 8 arena shows on the ‘20 Years A King Europe’ tour, which will take him to Berlin, Frankfurt, Essen, Zurich, Torino, Vienna, Goteborg and Malta.

The Europe tour will begin in Malta on 28 August and end in Torino, Italy, on 8 September.

For Germany, 2Baba will headline the Nollywood Europe Golden Award in Frankfurt on 31 August and perform at the prestigious Columbia Theatre in Berlin on 1 September. On 7 September, he will return to Germany again to entertain his fans in Essen.
