Nigeria hopes for improved Internet as Google’s subsea cable arrives

Google’s subsea cable, Equiano, has landed in Lagos, Nigeria. The cable, named after Olaudah Equiano, Nigerian-born writer and abolitionist who was enslaved as a boy, connects Africa with Europe.
