The City of Hamburg presents itself as an employer with its many different employment opportunities from the fire brigade to the tax office, from educators to engineers or bus drivers.

The Centre for Training and Further Education and the Human Resources Office will provide information about routes into training and work at the city. Also on site are: State enterprises and companies of the city and advisory institutions, such as the Hamburg Welcome Center, and many more.
