The Miss Nigeria Germany, last held in 2015 when Joy Chinyere Ogugua won the contest, is staging a comeback after so many years.

Germany’s most beautiful Nigerian woman to be crowned in Hamburg today!

There are events taking place across Germany in October to celebrate this year’s Nigerian Independence Day in the country.

A beauty pageant is the main feature of the celebrations in the merchant city of Hamburg. Taking place on Saturday, 5 October and organised by African Heritage Media in collaboration with African-German Information Centre, Miss Nigeria Germany will be crowned at the event that will also feature, among others, music concerts, comedy sketches and traditional dances.

Among the diaspora-based Nigerian artists to perform in Hamburg are Toni Tuklan, Me-Razor, Okwudili Obi, Carmen Amaka, Cbily and Sofia Robert. Moreover, stand-up comedians Okwudili Obi and Fineface of Bremen will crack the ribs of the audience.

There’re other contests to be won at the event, including the Most Elegant Man and Most Elegant Woman as well as the Best Traditional Costume of the evening.

Martin Ojo (aka Princeijo) and Tony Airhenbuwa (aka Tony Air) of African Heritage Radio and Juliet Ohenhen will emcee the event, which will also feature a fashion show, catwalks and a presentation of African entrepreneurs in Germany.

The Miss Nigeria Germany, last held in 2015 when Joy Chinyere Ogugua won the contest, is staging a comeback after so many years. And the organizers are promising a show that is better than whatever they’ve ever put up in the past.

Don’t miss it!
