THE AFRICAN COURIER. Reporting Africa and its Diaspora! The African Courier is an international magazine published in Germany to report on Africa and the Diaspora African experience. The first issue of the bimonthly magazine appeared on the newsstands on 15 February 1998. The African Courier is a communication forum for European-African political, economic and cultural exchanges, and a voice for Africa in Europe.
Journalists in the European Union and Switzerland can enter a contest on migration, integration, diversity and democratic culture.
The CIVIS Media Foundation is looking for the best programmes focusing on the issues of migration, integration and cultural diversity in Europe
Radio, film, television and online stories are eligible for the CIVIS Media Prize.
The categories are the CIVIS Top Award, video, audio, youth (for ages 33 and younger) and cinema.
Works must have aired or been published between Jan. 22, 2019 and Jan. 21, 2020 and promote the peaceful coexistence of people of different national, ethnic, religious or cultural backgrounds.
The top winner will receive €15,000. Category winners will be awarded €2,000.
The deadline is Jan. 21, 2020.
