Impact Initiative 2020: Munich hosts personal empowerment programme

The German city of Munich will on 28 March host the 5th edition of the annual Impact Initiative, a human capacity development project facilitated by Impacti.org.

The event, themed “Personal Development and Social Competence” and holding at the renowned EineWeltHaus in the Bavarian capital, promotes personal empowerment by imparting knowledge and skills.

“First started in 2015, the programme was conceived out of a passionate vision to bridge the circumstantial gaps often existing between an individual’s innate drive to add value through a life of maximum impact on the one hand and the information, inspiration and societal support platforms needed to realise that potential on the other hand,” the organisers said.

“As individuals are ultimately the building blocks of our society, their strategic empowerment and support in the journey of discovering purpose is central to the noble vision of building a more cohesive, engaged, productive and value-creating society as long-term ideals which are worth investing into optimally.”

To achieve its objectives, the Impact Initiative project annually brings together Europeans, African migrants and other interested people from diverse social backgrounds for intercultural education and personal development through social competence workshops, and music and networking sessions.

“Attendees can be assured of being treated to a value-laden atmosphere packed with inspiration, empowerment, fun and networking opportunities for upward social mobility and strategic tips towards discovering purpose,” the organisers assured.

Apart from the convener, Olumuyiwa Abisagboola, a renowned musical talent, other key speakers at the event include Lekan Wellington and Kash Mueller.

Lekan, the founder and director of The Reconciliation Ministries UK, facilitates leadership development training in the United Kingdom and internationally. He has a postgraduate degree in Leadership from the University of Chester. He is a member of the John Maxwell Team and a John Maxwell certified Coach, Speaker and Trainer. His charity organization, Uplift Global, focuses on Leadership, Family and Health.

Kash is a Germany-based professional with several years of experience cutting across business management consultancy, cross-cultural working, conflict management, change management, communication skills and business English training for professional development.
